  • 2 large Eggs

  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 cup Hot Water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  • Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  • Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder and hot water until smooth. Stir in vegetable oil.
  • Pour the cocoa mixture into the cookie dough and mix until just combined.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
  • Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
