  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh or dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract, orange zest, and orange juice.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in cranberries and white chocolate chips.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets, leaving space between cookies.
  • Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and centers are slightly soft.
  • Let cookies cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
