Ingredients

  • 1 cup salted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment.
  2. Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugars until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, beat until light.
  4. Stir in dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop dough (2–3 tbsp each) onto sheets, spaced apart.
  6. Bake 8–10 mins until edges just start to brown.
  7. Cool on sheets 5 mins, then transfer to rack.
