  • 2 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ½ teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • Powdered Sugar for dusting

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth.
  • Gradually add the granulated sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and almond extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the center is still slightly soft.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, dust generously with powdered sugar.
