  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl.
  • Add peanut butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Stir in chocolate chips, if using.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
