This easy, no-bake Sweetheart Snack Mix combines crispy Rice Chex, crunchy gluten-free pretzels, and festive Valentine’s Day M&Ms, all coated in sweet white chocolate. It’s a quick and delightful treat, perfect for sharing love or a last-minute party!

Ingredients

5 cups Rice Chex cereal, divided

1 cup mini pretzels (Snyder’s Gluten Free recommended)

10 ounces white melting chocolate (see notes)

½ cup powdered sugar, white or colored pink

6 ounces Valentine’s Day M&Ms

Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

1. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper and set aside. Add 4 cups of Chex cereal to a large bowl. Place powder sugar in a 1-gallon zip top bag.

2. Place the white chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until melted. (Or you could use a double boiler method by place a glass mixing bowl over a saucepan with 1 inch of water. Heat on medium and stir constantly until melted).

3. Pour the white chocolate over the cereal and stir thoroughly to fully coat. Place half of this chocolate-coated cereal mix into your powdered sugar bag. Shake well to fully coat the cereal with your sugar.

4. Add the remaining 1 cup of Chex, the pretzels, M&Ms, and sprinkles (if using) to the mixing bowl with the remaining chocolate-coated cereal. Gently fold to partially coat the new additions with any remaining chocolate.

5. Spread the entire mix evenly on the prepared parchment paper. Add the powdered sugar coated Chex on top, distributing evenly.

6. Allow the mix to rest for 20 minutes at room temperature to set. Gently toss to break up any large chunks and serve. Store in an airtight container.

White melting chocolate will melt smoother than white chocolate baking chips. If you only have baking chips, add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil or vegetable oil to help smooth out the consistency when melting.
