Soft, chewy M&M cookies bursting with chocolatey goodness from melted chips and colorful candies. Incorporate air into the dough for a light texture and enhance flavor with a balanced sugar combination. A timeless American treat that disappears quickly!

Ingredients

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs or 2 flax eggs (2 tbsp flaxseed meal + 6 tbsp water, set for 5 minutes)
2 tsp vanilla extract (use non-alcoholic version if preferred)
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups M&M candies

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C)
Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy
Add granulated sugar and mix until combined
Beat in eggs or flax eggs, one at a time
Stir in vanilla extract
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt
Gradually blend dry ingredients into wet
Fold in chocolate chips and half the M&M candies
Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto baking sheets
Sprinkle remaining M&M candies on cookie tops immediately after baking
Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden around edges

Notes
